Ah, you are back! Or perhaps this is sent from there. In any case you have posted beautiful photos. Hope it is as warm as it looks. Also you've quoted one of my favorite authors. It will be a good day...

I've been sitting, lately thinking that I've been unable to tell love from reflections of it. In this case is love like a rock? I think I may have tried to "have" love, like you can hold a rock, which is of course beautiful in itself, too, but that love is it's own thing rather than something you can have like a commodity is what I'm thinking about. Maybe I want to live inside love rather than possess it (which doesn't seem to work). In trying to possess love, I myself am not the love I want to get. Which keeps me out of it.

Welcome back, drjay! Were you gone only a week? Seemed longer...shorter to you probably.

That first photo is gorgeous...the little boy and his pooch seem to have stilled just so you could photograph them. Nice digs, too. Hope there wasn't too much snow to greet you back home...

Why did I intuit that you had gone to Costa Rica when you said you were going to the Caribbean? I just had a feeling, maybe because there are so many Yoga retreats there.

That's where I was hiding out, too. Where were you exactly? Maybe we passed on the road.
