Yoga Cynic Sutra

...been wishing lately I could do nothing but yoga, all day, every day...not sure, though, if that’s a reflection of devotion or despair...

I often wish I could do nothing but ride horses and take dance and martial arts classes. Forever a student, never a master...

Hope it's devotion, drjay, but like Joan Baez said "action is the antidote to despair," so...

Beautiful reflection shot, by the way.

doing a week say of yoga every minute of every day except for sleep and eating of course sounds fabulous to me. what I might need myself. you see, the way i think about yoga is that the doing would start things moving within both my physical self and my spiritual self and psyche and i am in a drowning sludge right now. the best i can do though despite my ambition to do more yoga is about an hour a day with sometimes a few short sessions during the day.

What harm could it do, if possible to even do it. ???

Had seen your books & blogs on the net, very good and a great photograph, which says a million words.

And here I am wishing for a couple of Vicodin. Same river different boat.

Sometimes getting up in the morning is devotion. Committing to yoga or anything else for that matter is likely devotion...

simply a reflection, perhaps?

It doesn't matter whether devotion or despair.. the magic of yoga allows you to explore.

yoga can be a fabulous escape from despair.

Read this poem in a blog. Reminded me of you for some reason:

Don't know if you follow Lorenzo ~ he's an interesting poet.

I hope it's devotion, of course, but even if it's despair, at least it will lead to action.

…could it be hope?

Just being close to questioning devotion or despair? is profound, Jay.

Beautiful shot.
