For MLK Day...

Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.
Martin Luther King Jr.

With a broken computer, and about to head out to take part in the Martin Luther King Day of Service, I'm not saying much, but thought I'd share a few images and words...

Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men.
Martin Luther King Jr.

Namaste, & all that...

good quotes...even if they are a bit depressing. Human behavior with it's frequent insistance of the easier road can be pretty silly but they also found chocolate so there's at least one reason not to give up us.

ahhhhh, perfection in a post. Great quotes.
Coincidentally, I quickly browsed an NPR article about IKE's farewell speech and his comments about the dangers of the military having more say in the country's affairs than the citizenry.
Supports the calls for more listening, less lobbying.

Both quotes from Dr. King and the cartoon caption really conveyed the message of active pacifism. I do hope that your day went well cynical Yogi.
